Starbuzz Guava Shisha review.

In keeping with the Starbuzz brand this is another premium shisha tobacco. Slightly more pricey than some other brands of shisha out there, this one is thick and sticky, very dense and strong in smell. The scent itself is strong though much more artificial tasting than expected, rather more like a guava flavouring than an actual guava fruit. Many prefer more synthetic flavours over the natural ones, ultimately it's down to your own flavour preferences but we found this one a bit too artificial for our liking. This is perhaps due to the fact that guava itself is not a particularly potent smelling fruit and so in conversion to a hookah shisha tobacco it doesn't translate as well as some of the other fruits out there. What it may lack in potency it certainly makes up for in smoke, producing great billowing clouds with relative ease. The buzz is light and unpronounced and the flavour itself is much like the smell, a bit indistinct and lighter than expected. For true guava fans this is obviously a must due to the lack of guava shisha tobacco flavours out there but for fans of flavour you may want to look elsewhere.

Starbuzz Christmas Mix Shisha review.

Christmas Mix is without a doubt one of the best Starbuzz flavors ever produced. It is your typical Starbuzz cut, mediam cut, quite a few stems, and very dark in colour. The smell once you open the bag is fantastic, and really brings home that sense Christmas that fills a room instantly and warms everything up wonderfully. Something like a Christmas candle you might say. Starbuzz are cagey about what exactly goes into this blend but we could distinctly make out hints of banana and cinnamon hiding just beneath a rich ginger surface. The taste is absolutely delicious, warm and rich like a cinnamon bun but freshened with lots and lots of ginger that give it an added zing in its step. The smoke is thick and rich lasts for ages, and the flavour goes and goes for in excess of an hour. There is a slight buzz at the beginning of the session but this quickly goes as you get used to it. There's not really much else to say about this excellent shisha, except that words don't do it justice and it really needs to be tried to be believed. Great as a seasonal treat, or at any other time of the year for that matter, you have to have a few grams of this exceptional shisha in your collection at all times. Fantastic stuff.
